2012
:

A new BBC film about Indonesian slow lorises and illegal pet trade, "Jungle Gremlins of Java", has been finished in cooperation with Anna Nekaris, raising hope that this production will turn out to be a counterweight to the numerous "funny" YouTube videos of illegally kept pet lorises which fuel poaching and pet trade.
See the "Natural World" page about this film with dates of first transmission in the UK.

Dr. Nekaris in addition launches an actual campaign to help the lorises. See out page "How you can help" for information
